Med spa SEO: how to rank for 'Botox near me' and every treatment people search
Med spa SEO in plain English: the Google Business Profile that wins the map, a page per treatment, the questions people search before they book, reviews, and the mistakes that keep medical spas invisible.

Med spa SEO is two jobs. The first is the map: showing up when someone types "med spa near me" or "botox near me" with their phone in one hand. The second is the treatment search: "lip filler cost", "does Morpheus8 hurt", "how long does Botox last". Most med spas do neither on purpose and rank by accident. Here's how to do both on purpose.
Job one: the map
Google Business Profile decides the map. What moves it: the number and recency of reviews, correct categories (Medical spa first, then the treatments), every treatment listed as a service with a description, photos added monthly, hours that are actually right, and answers to the questions people leave in the Q&A. Set a rule: every happy patient gets a review request by text two hours after the visit. Thirty new reviews in three months changes your position more than anything else on this page.
Job two: a page per treatment
One page per treatment, not one page with a menu. Each page answers, in the first screen, the four questions: does it hurt, how long does it last, what does it cost, what will I look like. Then how it works, who it's for, who it's not for, what to expect after, and the injector's ninety-second video. Title the page the way people search: "Botox in Irvine" not "Neuromodulators". Cost ranges on the page, not "call for pricing"; the page that says a number ranks for the "cost" search and wins the click.
Answer the questions people search before they book
Short answer pages for the real searches: "botox vs dysport", "how long does filler last", "can I work out after botox", "is Morpheus8 worth it". Each answered honestly in the injector's words, three hundred to six hundred words, with a link to the treatment page and a booking button. These bring people a month before they book, and they're what AI assistants quote when someone asks the question there.
City pages, carefully
If you draw from three cities, a page for each that says something real: driving time, parking, which treatments those patients book most. Not ten copies of the same page with the city name swapped, which Google now ignores.
Speed and phones
Most of your traffic is a phone at night. If the page takes four seconds because of a giant video header, she's gone. Compressed images, no auto-playing background video on mobile, booking button visible without scrolling.
The mistakes that keep med spas invisible
A single-page site. Treatments named by brand with no explanation. "Call for pricing." A Google listing with wrong hours. Reviews that stopped in 2023. Stock photos instead of the actual room and the actual injector. Each one costs rankings and bookings.
What to expect
The map moves in six to eight weeks if reviews start flowing. Treatment pages take three to four months to rank for cost and near-me searches. Answer pages compound for years. Track booked consults from organic, not rankings.
